QUILT RETREAT - JANUARY 2012

After a few of our members spent a wonderful weekend at our first quilt retreat (at least some of us were attending our first quilt retreat). We loved it so much we have made reservations for the following days at Emilie's Quilt Haus:

June 28, 29, 30 and July 1, 2012

January 10, 11, 12 and 13, 2013.

We are nearly full for the June retreat so let Debbie know as soon as you can to reserve your spot. For both retreats, we have room for 8 happy quilters!

Take a look at some of the projects that were finished or 'nearly' finished during our January 2012 retreat!!!

 Lara didn't think she could finish her king-sized quilt in 2 days, but she did, even after all of her strips fell on the floor! What a mess that was, but she prevailed as most all quilters manage to do.

Projects big and small were on the agenda for everyone, including Sandy and Cherri. Did you happen to know that pillow slips and pillow cases are the same thing???

Debbie and Judy (Debbie's sister-in-law) made baby quilts, same pattern, different arrangement of fabrics.

Why is Kay so HAPPY? Can you say prolific? She managed to complete, or 'nearly' complete close to 10 projects in just a little over 2 days!!
