Stonewall Retreat - June 2015

Judy is ready to start the retreat quilting! Looks like Kathy has already started!
Evelyn, Kay and Cathy are hard a work.
Kathy, our math whiz, is probably figuring something out!
Kathy's long table runner and place mats are coming right along.
Cathy is sewing with her beautiful Featherweight.
Evelyn is trying to put that 'pesky' Christmas tree together. She is just one of two ladies in the Graceful Quilter's group who attempted to make this tree.
This was Kay's first time on a quilt retreat. Doesn't she look happy! We did freeze her out, though. It is amazing what a little fleece, socks and a heating pad can do.
This is one of two identical quilts Kay spent most of her weekend piecing together. Beautiful! Judy likes it, too!
Even though the top of Debbie's head is cut off, she managed to get the binding attached to her Carpenter's Star quilt. This was one of the Graceful Quilter's recent projects. About time she got it finished!
Don't you just love Cathy's 'feed sack' quilt?
Wow! Judy finished the last five of the ten cross quilts she is making for her grand-kids and great grand-kids.
Kathy's table runner and place mats are finished! Too bad her vegetable fabrics didn't have any green beans. Those are William's, her grandson's favorite.
Don't you just love the colors on Cathy's pillow case (or pillow slip, Sandy)?
Debbie finished her pink/purple pastel quilt top. This time with all of her head!
Cathy and Kathy working on Kathy's ruler bag, another Graceful Quilter's project.
Evelyn working on that 'pesky' tree again. She did that all weekend.
Kay is showing her T-Shirt bag she made which is holding her 400 pound quilt!
Kathy and Evelyn are working hard. Cathy, not so much.
Is Evelyn giving up on her tree?
NO she didn't give up. What a beautiful Christmas Tree. I believe it was worth all of her hard work.
Judy finished her beautiful embroidered quilt.
Kathy finished her ruler bag!!!!
She even finished the inside. She used some of Judy's fabric which was donated when Judy had to downsize.
Kay with one of her finished quilt tops.
Isn't our view spectacular?
Kay is showing us one of her other quilt tops. The star just shimmers! What a gorgeous quilt.
Another of our beautiful views. How we get any quilting done at this gorgeous quilt retreat is a miracle. We could just sit, drink coffee and enjoy the view all weekend.
Kathy, Debbie, Judy, Cathy, Evelyn and Kay on our final day at retreat. We really didn't want to come home. But everyone had a great time.
